Celcom = Sialcom = Totally Sucks!!!!

Good Day,

Before i begin, let me tell you why I'm a Celcom customer... I work in a rural area ... far far away from the big city. I live near a state border. Although the cellphone coverage is okay, the broadband coverage however is limited to only Celcom ... so I have no choice but to be a Celcom customer if i were to go online which I think I can't live without...

Anyway, I'm subscribing to two Celcom services ... one is a Celcom Broadband Postpaid, and the other is Celcom Blue Prepaid.... now the postpaid one is strictly for Internet, you can't make a phone call and the prepaid one is the normal SIM which you can make calls just like your normal prepaid SIM  ... however both of them i used as my means to connect to the Internet.

As you all know and for those who don't know, Celcom has a RM98 C-Broadband Advance which boast of speed up to 3.6Mbps. However it has a bandwidth limit up to 5GB of data transfer. Now whenever you exceed the limit of 5GB, they will un-throttle your speed from up to 3.6Mbps to just a mere not more than 128Kbps which is very very slow and you can't even watch your favorite YouTube clip on it.

They used to have no solution for this hence why I bought a Celcom Blue Prepaid as my substitute to the Celcom Postpaid Package. You can always use the prepaid to subscribe a RM20/Week Unlimited Broadband with a speed of up to 512Kbps.

Later on they have this service where you can buy additional bandwidth of 5GB for RM20. So i figured, why not just purchase an additional 5GB with the speed of up to 3.6Mbps instead of subscribing a RM20/Week unlimited with a speed of up to 512Kbps ...

So it became my norm coz I'm a heavy internet user so i always exceed the bandwidth limit. Overtime, I rarely use my Celcom Prepaid coz of the "purchase additional bandwidth" service.

Up until today, I've exceeded my bandwidth once again and called the Celcom customer service for purchasing additional 5GB bandwidth ... to my surprise, the Celcom staff told me that they changed the cost of a 5GB to RM50. Its not RM20 anymore its RM50!!!! Taken aback, i canceled my purchase because i think its outrageous!!!!

So I'm back to my old norm which is, buying RM20 reload to my Prepaid and subscribe to the RM20/Week. Then while i was happily surfing the net, Celcom sent me an SMS which sounds like this ...

RM0> Langganan lagu anda tlh berjaya diperbaharui, RM1 telah dicaj ke akaun anda. Langganan lagu ini akan diperbaharui stp minggu. Tertakluk terma & syarat

Celcom call it "Call Me Ring Tone" .... The thing is I NEVER SUBSCRIBED TO ANY "CALL ME FUCKING RING TONE"!!!!!! ... So i called Celcom services AGAIN and inquired about this. It turned out that the subscription started on June and now its end of September. Imagine the horrror!!!! I've been ripped off buy Celcom within that time period RM1 a week without me even knowing it. I know if you calculate it, its not that much perhaps thats what most of you people think. Yeah it probably not that much but remember ... i wasn't the only one who was being ripped off. I bet all Celcom subscriber has been ripped off too ... they just don't know it yet or haven't realized it yet.

The Celcom personnel explains that it was a promo. Initially it was free then they sent SMS saying that the promo period is finished and they will start charging RM1/Week ... since I didn't replied a "NO" to the SMS, they started suka suka, freely deduct RM1 from my credit. What a FUCKING LOAD OF BULLSHIT!!!!!

Firstly, you should never impose extra ordinary charges anyone without one's knowledge and consent!!!! The SMS suppose to be an "if you don't reply YES then the subscription will be stopped". I don't use my prepaid SIM card on the phone ... how was i suppose to know and receive your fucking SMS?!!!  Have you ever think of that??!!!

But alas!!! ..... The are no wireless Internet Service Provider In my place except for this thief ... like it or not i have to subscribe to their services .... but if i ever have any other option such as DiGi or Maxis, I'd pick one of them before I ever think about using Celcom. Sial punya Celcom.... they should change their logo into this!
